Undertaking preventive maintenance and repairs of medical/hospital equipment, plants, furniture and instruments; carrying out minor repairs of health facilities and utilities; ordering for spare parts and consumables; taking/maintaining inventory of medical/hospital equipment, furniture and plants; collating and compiling information for research; collating and compiling information on medical engineering services for input into the Health information management system; and implementing medical engineering programmes and projects .
